For me, corporate accounting is about much more than number crunching. It’s about solving business problems by thinking outside the box. It’s about helping ordinary people unlock the extraordinary value of their ideas. It’s about making a lasting difference, however small, in every industry I work with.

In my role as Director, I’m dedicated to helping emerging businesses grow and innovate, working mainly with mineral exploration companies, technology startups and entrepreneurs. I’m also committed to supporting the ongoing personal and professional development of the Onyx staff.

I have more than 20 years’ experience and hold the position of Company Secretary and CFO (virtual) with several ASX listed and unlisted public companies.

Jenny Tan CPA

Jenny is an experienced financial accountant with the advantage of a background in auditing, giving her a thorough understanding of business operations in addition to the financial aspects.

Jenny understands that the problems faced by each company are unique and require creative solutions and clear communication. She possesses an eagle eye for detail and thrives on diagnosing the underlying patterns that can negatively impact a company.

Jenny has been a Financial Accountant with Onyx since 2016. Prior to that, she was an auditor for Deloitte Malaysia and Bentleys Perth.

Mirela Jerkovic CA

With more than 17 years experience working with a range of industries, Mirela is an adaptable financial accountant with a strong ethical approach.

She has worked with the external audit division of Bentleys Perth, the Mining division of Leighton Contractors and the Corporate Finance division of RSM Australia, prior to joining Onyx in 2016.
